Definitely! For venues that aren’t within the Philadelphia area, I offer a discounted rate for travel so that I can see the full picture of your venue. Plus we can use this time to schedule your engagement session too!
During your engagement session, before I take a single photograph, we’ll chat and spend some time easing into the moment. My secret? The whole time I’ll be taking notes about the way you interact and what you’re saying. I take these details and combine them with the vision you’ve shared to drive the creative direction for your session. As the session progresses, I’ll provide subtle tips, but let your natural dynamic guide the imagery.
The intentional collaboration and communication ahead of time allows the wedding to be so immersive that posing and styling simply aren’t needed. We’ll have already considered the important memories and helped you personalize such special moments, that the unfolding of the day itself will be the focus. Yes, I’ll guide if needed, but I want you to lean into the emotions and not even look at the camera outside of formal portraits!
